“Hygienic Items essentials” Campaign

The campaign was launched in the month of February and continued during March. The aim of the campaign was to provide to the refugees and asylum seekers hygienic and cosmetic products essentials such as soap, shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste, washing powder, razors and baby cosmetics. The successful campaign enabled the Association to provide hygiene supplies to refugees and asylum seekers in the first half of the year. During the campaign at association`s bank account had a total of four money transfers totaling worth 355BGN, which enabled us to purchase some of the necessary cosmetic products such as shampoo, soap, sanitary towels, razors and more. Also, the campaign took many individual donors who brought in humanitarian center of the Association their kind donations. Information about the necessity of cosmetic products for refugees reached the students and teachers from 105 school “Atanas Dalchev” and also the English-American School who organized and held their own initiatives among students and teachers and provided the Association with the collected products.
Teachers from 105 school organized a multicultural celebration with students who participated in the action, which was attended by representatives of Association "Council of Refugee Women in Bulgaria", as patrons of the campaign, and also a refugee family who accepted part of the collected items. At the ceremony were invited and our partners from MultiKulti Collective, which provided thematic workshops in which to entertain all the invited children. To provide the necessary cosmetic and hygiene products by the end of the year, a donation was made by Henkel Bulgaria, which provided more than 2000 products in support of refugees worth 6 406 BGN.
